Navalny

His name brings hope to the people and gives the shakes to the dictators.

An illusion is to think that by killing Navalny one may kill a hope of Russians to have a normal live, to have democracy. On the contrary, Navalny brings hope, which cannot be defeated.

One may be even so awfully afraid of Navalny’s such an immortality to an extent of undertaking thorough preparations to end his life in an isolated confinement in a remote Arctic penal colony. The result however is the opposite. Navalny stays undefeated.

This brings the only conclusion. The Kremlin has already lost its war against the people. By kiling Navalny it became powerless against a perspective of democracy in Russia.

Navalny gave a way to the people. “Don’t give up,” he said. “Everything that’s needed for evil to prevail is for good people to do nothing. So act.”

“Everything that’s needed for evil to prevail is for good people to do nothing. So act.”

His words gave a future. Well, he gave many things. He brought the sovereign powers to the people and made them stronger. Even through collective mourning for him he made a certain way to build a sense of ownership, self respect and dignity.

He gave a way to grow and to develop from being in the opposition to becoming a dwelling of the position. By doing so he gave the flesh to the words of freedom. He planted the seed of not giving up.

The West that enjoys the benefits of democracy shall embrace Navalny’s fight. Shall help the sprouting. Shall share the mourning. Shall be present.

Overall, the West shall reinstall its agenda for democracy. It shall structurally and regularly engage with the Russian people to build the open society. It shall be systematic and strategise a policy path to a democratic future of Russia. It shall act, not give up and inspire the world to follow.
